ANANT
gouges are forged from special chrome vanadium alloy steel
and heat treated under the strict supervision of qualified
heat treatment experts ensuring their best performance.
These are similar to chisels but with a curvature on the
blade - they are the most frequently used carving tools.
Used for grooving, or when turned over, for carving
convexed shapes. They are available in various sizes and
sweeps.
The size of the sweep selected will vary with the amount
of work the tool is required to use. Higher the number of
the gouge, the greater the blade sweep or curvature. These
are half rounded, finely polished inner surface, fitted
with shock resistant polypropylene handles or seasoned
hard wood handles. Blades are end protected with plastic
caps. A top quality product for professional use.
