Similar
in operation to the No. A78 this plane will also cut
rabbets and fillisters up to 1½ in. (38mm) in width. With
the cut iron in the forward position the plane may be used
for bull nose work and when in rear position, adjustment
to the cut iron is provided by a lever.
Fitted with a
hardened steel spur for cross grain work and an adjustable
depth gauge can be removed from the plane if desired.
The single arm
adjustable fence supplied may be used on either side of
the plane.
